A Family Affair
A Spoonful of Sugar was born in Benton Park, MO on April 24th, 2024! An available, small shop space attracted the attention of Elijah Jabari. Jabari had always dreamt of entrepreneurship and the shop was a perfect way to embark on that journey. Equipped with 12 years of food service experience, most of which in management, he took a risk. His family was quick to hop on and help him get the store open.
In the first month of operation, ASOS has implemented a Summer Reading Program for the community to participate in and are doing their part to help families in the area with food insecurity by partnering with GiftAMeal.
We hope that you continue to be our neighbor and grow along with us!
Summer Reading Program
Bring the kids to the shop to pick up a reading map! Every day that you guys read for twenty minutes or complete a book, you can color a Popsicle. Bring your map back when you get to the sun and redeem for free scoops of Ice Cream or a prize!
